Brightness is measured in lumens. The lumens can range anywhere from 300 lumens to 3300 lumens, with 3300 being the brightest. Lumen Range Comments 300 - 500 lumens These will usually be the least expensive projectors. Also, the low light output may require your presentations to be made in a dark or dimly lit room. 500 - 1000 lumens Projectors in this range are geared toward normal business conference room and classroom use. SXGA 1280 x 1024 SXGA products are geared towards high-end personal computers and low end workstations. They are often used in situations where acute resolution of small details is needed. UXGA 1600 x 1200 UXGA is aimed at workstation applications with very high resolution. There are not very many products that have UXGA native resolution.
